I thought the charge was rather expensive for a 20 mile tow. $240. I got my $$ back but... Had a hard time getting a receipt from them so I could get my $$ back After 3 calls, no luck. I had finally left to drive the 20 minutes to their business and shortly after leaving home I finally got one email .
I had used Joe's Towing services in the past and was quite pleased with them. I am so glad I called them this time when my battery went dead in the mall parking lot. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and she got a driver enroute to me right away. The driver, whose name is Gabe, arrived within 10 minutes! While waiting for the "chargey thing" to charge my battery, I had a wonderful time chatting with him. He was professional, respectful and a joy to talk with. He cheered me right up and I greatly appreciated that. Please thank him again for being so kind and helpful in such a stressful situation. Gabe is definitely a huge asset to the company!! Give him a raise!!!
Joe's Towing provided excellent service to/for me today ... from the time I talked to Missy to the time the tow service arrived to my vehicle was, at most, 10 minutes ... my tow truck driver provided great service and appropriate assessment of the problem ... thank you.
My car was stolen and recovered last night. Cody went above and beyond for me working with the police officer and securing my vehicle until it could be towed to the dealership. Props to Missy in the office for the follow up call and to Allison this morning for arranging the tow to the dealership. They helped make a traumatic event less stressful. Thank you all!

The driver who responded was kind, funny, and fast to unlock the door. Response time from when the call was placed until he arrived was pretty long. Price felt high, but is probably in line with everyone else. Just seems like a lot of money to pay for five minutes of help.
On January 27, 2026, I requested service via AAA. Joe's Towing in Peoria, Il responded to the call. I needed battery assistance. Their technician Rodney showed up and was delighted to help me. He was very professional, articulate and showed a genuine concern for my situation. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. Rodney is definitely an asset to Joe's towing. Today, my car wouldnt start even after jumping it. Joe's Towing came to tow it to the dealership. In this day and age where customer service is almost non-existent, I must say that Jacob with Joe's Towing proved me wrong. He was genuinely friendly with a nice smile, even though the temperature is almost zero outside. The professionalism that he showed convinced me that I would use them again, if needed, and highly recommend them to anyone else needing a towing service. Great job Joe's Towing, especially Jacob!!
